Let the memories be good for those who stay.
Whenever I go to London, the days seem to fly by. As soon as I blink, it is already the day of departure again and I always feel like I haven’t had enough time, haven’t seen enough people and haven’t been able to soak up the atmosphere for long enough.
I cannot believe that it has been a week since I sat in the office at All Hallows by the Tower, talking about all the things which have happened since my last visit, or since I took my friend Trang on a walk all around central London.

We walked all the way down from Holborn to Leister Square, and via Piccadilly Circus and ended up at Trafalgar Square, where we stopped for a little while to take some photos and sit on the stairs to watch life happen. Later, we walked through both the Galleries and that was a little odd for me, considering it was there that I went on my first date with Samuel and it had been quite the perfect first date back in the day.
As you can see, it was actually raining all day (and the days after) but we didn’t let that stop us from having cupcakes outside in Soho once I’d managed to track down The Hummingbird Bakery.

As stated previously, in this article, I am absolutely in love with the city and it pains me every single time that I have to go home.
London is my home, it really is and whenever people talk about it not being beautiful or filthy rich and posh every where they go, I can only roll my eyes. Sure, it does have run down houses scattered all over, it has some dodgy corners – but that is exactly what makes it special and lovable to me.
Saturday saw me spend the day with a whole lot of local friends, getting food at noon and for dinner and lazily wandering through the halls of the British Museum.
Sitting on the steps to the coach in the Port of Dover Sunday at noon, reading the NME and drinking some more coffee, I actually had a rad time although I was on my back to dreadful Germany. ‘Home’ just doesn’t measure up to London and there is never anything exciting to do if you don’t plan it for a really long time.

To be honest, I could sit here forever and talk to you about the recent trip but I just wanted to share some of the awesome pictures we took. :)
