That Summer Feeling.

While most European bloggers have packed their bags and flown & travelled away into the wide world, I’ve been stuck at work and, more importantly, at college.

But the good news are: This morning I exited building GA for the last time in months!

I’m officially on holidays, as of now! YES.

The only duties for the upcoming weeks: writing a term paper and working. Being away from class means a whole lot more of waitressing for me (gotta pay for crazy adventures somehow, right?) but it also means a lot more time for fun.

I terribly miss the sea and being away from home. While I can’t manage to actually go to the sea for an extended period of time, I’m headed elsewhere though. Here’s a bit of an itinerary for the summer:

August 7 – Geo-Caching with friends.

August 11-16 – Rome

August 20-22 – Area 4 music festival
(with Placebo, Blink-182, All Time Low & The Gaslight Anthem)

September 27 – Mumford & Sons

As time goes on and I find more things to do, I’ll add to the list.

Last summer, I went to the French city of Lille with my BFF as she’d previously spent a couple of months there studying. Those few days were really cool and we had a lot of fun sightseeing. I hope we get to take many pictures and enjoy some of the Italian culture!

Somedays I really miss my colourful hair!

What are your plans for the upcoming months?

omg my dad loves geo caching XDD I’ve been with him a few times it can be real fun but it sucks when you’re searching for something and it takes hours ~.~ lol

unfortunately I don’t have any plans :/ I wanna go to London in September and I’m praying to god it’s gonna happen!

Caching is so great – we went to the woods last year and walked around for hours in the dark. We managed to fid the treasure but as we didn’t answer the second to last question, we couldn’t open the locks :(
We tried once more some time later, but the other trail was disrupted.

Well, if I wasn’t going to Rome, I’d be on my way to London already now, but alas – there’s only so many trips I can pay for!

The day after we booked our trip, I saw a news bit on TV about how Rome was the second most dangerous city for tourists in the world. I’m a bit intimidated by that but then again, I know some people who went there and came back fine without people robbing their belongings ;)
